By enrolling as a tutor with Filter Tutor ('the service provider'), you ('the tutor') acknowledge your agreement to the ensuing terms and conditions ('the terms') that will guide our association.

It is imperative for the tutor to thoroughly review all the terms to prevent any misinterpretation and unforeseen circumstances in the future. These terms articulate the conditions of our collaboration and the obligations of Filter Tutor as a service provider.

Verification Process

1. The service provider will only refer/publish verified tutors on its website. While unverified tutors can create their profile on our website, they will not be able to apply to any Filter Tutor tuition jobs. This is due to our commitment to providing parents/students with verified tutors.

2. A non-refundable verification fee is required as a one-off payment through an appropriate banking channel before activating your account. We assure you that student details for suitable jobs will be shared, fulfilling our promise to you.

Service Fees

1. All successful tuitions obtained through our portal will attract a set percentage of service fees. Tutors must pay this fee to the designated Filter Tutor banking account within 48 hours of receiving payment from the student/parent.
2. The service fees will be a certain percentage of the "first month" tuition fees, informed and agreed upon with the tutor before exchanging contact details with students/parents. This fee supports our effort to provide a personalized experience through our portal.
3. Tuition fees must be mutually agreed between the parent/student and tutor, and it is the tutor's responsibility to confirm the amount. We prefer our service fees to be based on actual tuition fees.
4. We reserve the right to change our service fee terms, with prior notice.

Membership

Filter Tutor aims to offer a free platform to everyone. While our free membership suits many professionals, we also offer premium plans for tutors. At the time of successful registration, tutors may receive a complimentary upgrade to a premium plan. Management reserves the right to make changes to membership terms.

Identification and Validation

The tutor must be a resident of Pakistan and prove their identity through CNIC, passport, and/or driving license. We require photocopies, not original documents, as part of verification.

Operational Code

1. The tutor must comply with ‘Filter Tutor Code of Ethics and Conduct’. Any breach may result in termination.
2. Tuition details will be mutually decided by the tutor and tutee. Filter Tutor will not interfere in this regard.
3. The tutor will charge no fee for demo classes, and we recommend providing no more than one.
4. Once the engagement is established, Filter Tutor is not responsible for any issues. Parents' appraisals help prioritize tutor referrals.
5. The tutor can cancel/discontinue the engagement anytime by contacting us.

Filter Tutor Rights and Obligations

1. Filter Tutor does not discriminate based on race or gender. Tutors are referred based on skills, experience, and feedback scores.
2. Tutors must respond within 2 hours; otherwise, Filter Tutor will refer the next best tutor.
3. Filter Tutor aims to pay remuneration/commission within 5 working days. Delays will be duly informed.
4. Filter Tutor reserves the right to change terms. Stakeholders will be informed, and a 1-month notice will be given for discontinuation.
5. Filter Tutor will not share/disclose tutor information unless required by law. Data is stored securely with our chosen data storage provider.

Overview of Tutor Selection Process

The tutors at Filter Tutor undergo a thorough selection process to become a part of the Filter Tutor team. Our tutor support team screens all applicants to ensure they have the right qualifications and attitude to be successful tutors. The rigorous process ensures that our tutors can be trusted to deliver the desired high quality of education for the tutee. Compliance with the 'Filter Tutor Code of Ethics and Conduct' policy is a top priority (Weight – 25%).

• Communication skills (Weight – 15%)
• Professionalism (Weight – 15%)
• Punctuality (Weight – 15%)
• Result of the students (Weight – 15%)

Charges for Using Our Service

For our services, we charge nothing from parents/tutees. However, we charge tutors a small service fee for using our services and platform. Tutors pay these charges from the fees they earn from tuition engagements, helping us provide seamless service and online facilities.

Rules of Tuition Engagements

All tutors go through rigorous verification checks and an interview before their online profile is available. They provide one free demo class for you to ensure satisfaction. Tuition engagements are direct agreements between tutors and parents/students.

In case of problems, bring concerns to the tutor's notice. Filter Tutor team will intervene and investigate independently to resolve the situation. Investigation results will be communicated to both tutor and tutee and deemed final. Parents/tutors can choose to take it further if unhappy with the decision. If tutors do not accept the decision or address concerns, Filter Tutor reserves the right to terminate engagement.

Parents/students can submit fair feedback at the end of the engagement, published in the tutor's online profile. We strongly recommend resolving concerns mutually before drawing conclusions.

Operational Code

Filter Tutor service is available only in Pakistan. The tutee must be a resident of Pakistan and prove identity through CNIC, passport, or driving license.

Parents/tutees must behave appropriately with tutors. Safety and respect for tutors are paramount. Tuition details are mutually decided by tutors and parents/tutee. Filter Tutor does not interfere.

Once the tutor-tutee engagement is established, Filter Tutor will not be held responsible for future issues. Appraisals of tutors can be submitted, which will be shared with tutors and filed in records for future considerations.
